Drake Pledger here, frontiersman at heart and a devotee of American history. My passion lies in reenacting the past and preserving its essence for future generations. When I'm not lost in the annals of history, you'll find me embracing the great outdoors, where the spirit of the frontier still whispers through the winds. Join me on a journey back in time, where history comes alive and the wilderness is our playground.
Why Flintlock Operator?
As kids, we crave adventure, exploration, to overcome, and to emulate the great people of story and history. Some of us never outgrow these longings. Flintlock Operator grew out of a desire to share my love and wonder of the outdoors, American history, wilderness survival, old weapons, and the desire to live the adventures of great men of the past.

Join us as we pull on our moccasins, grab our rifle and powder horn, and slip our trusty tomahawk into our belt as we step into the past and weave our way silently through the great forest of the American frontier! Here at Flintlock Operator, our desire is to share the secrets, history, and skills of the frontiersman of the 18th and 19th centuries, to partake in their adventures, to see what they saw, and build a skillset of fundamental woodsman and firearm skills that will make us less dependent on our modern outdoor gear.
